On May 12, 2025, the 17th edition of BATA AGRO – the largest exhibition for agriculture and agricultural technology in Bulgaria – was officially opened at Stara Zagora Airport. The event marks an anniversary – 15 years since the establishment of the fair, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Traders of Agrimachinery.
The official opening was held with a solemn water blessing and a colorful parade of the majorette squad and the fanfare orchestra of the Fifth Primary School ‘Mitio Stanev’ – Stara Zagora. Among the official guests were the Minister of Agriculture Georgi Tahov, Deputy Minister Lozana Vasileva, the State Secretary of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture Jacek Czerniak, representatives of local authorities and the diplomatic corps.
“Today is a special day, we are celebrating an anniversary – 15 years since the first edition of BATA AGRO in 2010. Fifteen years in which we have witnessed the dynamic development of Bulgarian agriculture. We are proud that our forum has established itself as a place where innovations meet the real needs of farmers,” said Daniel Minev, Chairman of the Management Board of BATA AGRO.
This year, 206 exhibitors will present their business, located on 37,000 sq m of net exhibition area. Among them are the leading companies in the sector, which will show the latest in global agrotechnology, products and services for agriculture. Demonstrations of self-propelled and trailed equipment, test drives, as well as a farmers’ market have been organized within the exhibition in cooperation with Hrankoop.
